A Tribute Show Dedicated to Vasilis Tsitsanis and Sotiria Bellou

Are you a fan of rebetiko music, the urban folk genre that emerged in Greece in the early 20th century? If so, you won’t want to miss this tribute show dedicated to two of the most influential rebetiko artists of all time: Vasilis Tsitsanis and Sotiria Bellou.

The tribute show will feature a live band of talented musicians who will perform some of the most beloved songs of Tsitsanis and Bellou, as well as other rebetiko classics. You will also have the chance to learn more about the history and culture of rebetiko, and how it influenced the Greek music scene and society. The show will take place on Saturday, February 24, 2024, at 8 pm, at the Melbourne Rebetiko Club. Tickets are $28 + BF and can be purchased online or at the door.
